With the success of Vodafone campaign for its value added services using Zoozoos, more and more fans for these egg-headed, alien- like creatures are increasing around the World Wide Web.

The Vodafone-ZooZoos TV commercials have shown a new way of effectively endorsing a brand without stars. Now, Zoozoo’s fame crosses the boundaries of adworld and enters the limitless world of internet. There are ZooZoos brand pages and fans in almost every social networking site. Report says that as of now the Zoozoos page on Facebook has more than 65,000 members.

Though they look like animated characters, Zoozoos are actually human beings who were made to wear body suits. Ogilvy & Mather, the agency that handles Vodafone advertisements, wanted to make real people look as animated as possible and hence employed Bangalore-based Nirvana Films to shoot these ads in Cape Town, South Africa. These zoozoos are playing a pivotal role during the ad breaks of the IPL. The (other) stars beware!
